Free Clip Tool — Terms & Acceptable Use

Effective: June 13, 2026 (v1.0) *(the date the Clip Tool soft-launched with its inline acceptance notice at the generate control; published as a v0.1 draft before launch)*

These terms ("Clip Tool Terms") govern the free, no-sign-in clip generator on the Demades website — the tool that turns a topic you type into a short, AI-generated audio clip and a shareable page (together, the "Clip Tool"). The Clip Tool is operated by D3SMC LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Demades ("Demades," "we," "us").

The Clip Tool is offered for free, as a demonstration of the Demades podcast service. These Clip Tool Terms supplement our main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; where the Clip Tool is concerned and these terms differ, these terms control. Our Editorial & AI Policy and DMCA & Copyright Policy also apply.

1. How you accept these terms

The Clip Tool requires no account and no sign-in. By submitting a topic and generating a clip, you agree to these Clip Tool Terms. We show this notice next to the generate control and link these terms wherever the Clip Tool appears, so your agreement is informed.

2. What the Clip Tool produces — AI-generated, for demonstration

The clip is generated by artificial intelligence — an AI-written script read by synthetic voices. The hosts you hear are not real people. The clip is produced automatically from the topic you type, without human review before it is generated, and is provided "as is" for demonstration and entertainment only.

The clip may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and is not a statement of fact about any real person, company, product, or event. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or investment advice. Any real people, companies, or products mentioned are not affiliated with and have not endorsed Demades or the clip. Review the clip yourself before relying on it, sharing it, or distributing it.

3. Your responsibilities for the topic you submit

You are solely responsible for the topic you submit. By submitting a topic, you represent and warrant that:

You may not use the Clip Tool to generate content that is defamatory or knowingly false about identifiable people or organizations, that infringes intellectual-property or publicity rights, or that violates the acceptable-use rules of our main Terms of Service or our Editorial & AI Policy.

4. We may refuse or remove any clip

We may refuse to generate, decline, throttle, or remove any clip, topic, or share page at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice — including topics our automated safety filters reject and content that violates these terms or our policies. The Clip Tool applies automated topic filtering and editorial guardrails, but no automated filter is perfect; our right to refuse or remove is a backstop, not a guarantee that every clip has been reviewed.

We may also rate-limit use, serve a previously generated example clip, or pause the Clip Tool entirely (for example, to control cost or abuse).

5. No warranty; limitation of liability

THE CLIP TOOL AND EVERY CLIP IT PRODUCES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY CLIP IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR FREE OF ERROR.

BECAUSE THE CLIP TOOL IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, D3SMC LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CLIP TOOL OR ANY CLIP — INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE FULLY EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO US $100 IN THE AGGREGATE. The limitation of liability in our main Terms of Service also applies.

6. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless D3SMC LLC from claims arising out of the topic you submit, your use or distribution of a clip, or your violation of these terms.

7. Corrections, takedowns & copyright

If you believe a clip contains a false or misleading statement about you or your organization, or uses your protected work or likeness improperly, contact [email protected] with the share-page link and the specific issue. Such requests are handled under our Editorial & AI Policy; copyright complaints are governed by our DMCA & Copyright Policy (notices to the same address). We may remove a clip and disable its share page expeditiously on a credible complaint.

8. Changes

We may update these Clip Tool Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. The current version always lives at `/clip-terms`.
